We had a great week talking all about Community Helpers this week. The local fire department came to the school and they were WONDERFUL! First we listened as they explained what all of their protective wear was for. We even got to see one of them get in full gear! Then we checked out the truck. The firemen were AWESOME! They showed us so many things on their truck!
We also watched a very short Elmo f
ire safety movie. It was a special treat to get to watch a movie in our classroom. We turned off the lights and pretended it was a movie theater.
We tried on many different community helpers hats....even Ms. Cassie got in on the fun :)
