The Name Game!
Our unit this week was The Name Game. We worked on learning all of the childrens' names and began to recognize our own name in print!
Our bible story this week was In the Beginning from Genesis 1.
In our circle time we played an initial matching game to go along with our names. 
We read several books that went along with our unit, but we think everyone enjoyed Mommy Doesn't Know My Name the best!
Everyone had a really good time getting to free paint around their initials and names!
We worked on doing some crayon rubbings with our names done from hot glue.
We played a fun creation matching game to go along with our bible story.
We worked in our Writing Center where we began to practice to hold markers with the "alligator chop!"
We had fun playing in our Transportation Center
and in our Dramatic Play Center.
In the Sensory Table this week we played with sand and sand toys.
In our Art/ Creation Center we made an Earth to go along with our bible story and we worked on gluing beans to our names!
This week we celebrated Bethany's Birthday! She got to take home the Birthday Backpack and we all enjoyed yummy cookies to celebrate! 
This was also the first week of ballet for our ballerinas. Ms. Sarah said the girls did WONDERFUL!!
