Down on the Farm!
We had such a fun week talking all about farm animals!
Our bible story this week was The Lost Son. We talked about how God's love is like the the fathers love in this story. The children really understood that the lost son had to become a pig farmer. The bible that we used this week (The Beginner's Bible) it tells how the son even had to eat pig food. They thought this was hilarious!
In Art this week we painted a pink pig with mud (brown paint) and we stamped a farm scene!
In our sensory table this week we got to play with farm animal rubber duckies
In centers this week we sorted farm animal balloons.
We bathed farm animals with special farm soap (shaving cream!)
We worked with clothespins this week. The children needed to find the matching legs to the farm animals!
Everyone was able to listen to Old MacDonald in our new listening center!
On Tuesday we celebrated Titus's birthday! We had yummy cupcakes! 
We enjoyed the beautiful weather on Thursday and went out to the playground twice!
Next week our unit is Good Hygiene! We will be talking all about germs and we will even get a special visit from Kids Healthy Teeth! A link for Kids Healthy Teeth has been added.
