Conferences

It is that time of year for Parent - Teacher Conferences.
We talk to all of our parents so much on a daily basis, that we will not do a conference unless you request one.

If you would like to do a conference with one of us, please just let us know!

Mother Goose

Mother Goose

(Part 2)

We continued to talk about Mother Goose and Nursery Rhymes this week! We focused on Mary Mary Quite Contrary and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

In art this week we painted our own garden scenes and we made a star collage (again....I forgot to take pictures of this art project...sorry)

In centers this week, we worked on our number recognition.

We had lots of fun working on making patters with in our magnetic center!
We stamped pictures of Jack and Jill!

In our sensory table this week we played with "Twinkle Stars"
We also worked on some sorting and matching with these activities!

Our Monday/ Tuesday was finally able to get to eat lunch out in the courtyard this week!

School Closed 4/28

***UPDATE***
Katy ISD is closed the entire day today.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Katy ISD has will be having a 2 hour delay start and Cy-Fair ISD is closed all day today because of the weather.
Our school would not be open until 11. Since our "school day" ends at 12:30 (12:30-2:30 is lunch bunch) our director has decided to close the school today.

HIS KIDS WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED TODAY 4/28.

Have a great day with your child today! It will be a great day to snuggle up on the couch and watch some movies!!

Itsy Bitsy Spider and Humpty Dumpty

Mother Goose

Our unit this week was Mother Goose!

(part 1)

In our sensory table this week we had spiders (The Itsy Bitsy Spider) one day.
The other day we made a wall that Humpty Dumpty sat on. Then we would have Humpty Dumpty fall off that wall!In Art this week we put Humpty Dumpty back together again and we also made an Itsy Bitsy Spider fingerprint art piece (but, I forgot to take any pictures of it though...)

We also worked on putting back together these "Humpty Dumpties"

We also had fun playing with our new felt pieces on our felt board!

Next week we will continue to talk about Nursery Rhymes!

Extra Outside Time!!

The weather was so gorgeous on Wednesday and Thursday we had lots of extra outside time! We brought out the sidewalk chalk!




The bubbles too!

We even ate our lunch outside!

This guy was our playground celebrity! Everyone was screaming hello, and waving to him. He was very nice. He honked his horn and waved back to us!
