VALENTINES!!

Cassie had a wonderful week with the kids during our week celebrating Valentine's Day~

The class read many books all about LOVE!

They had lots of fun playing in centers...We had lots of yummy food during our Valentine's Party!

Everyone had a wonderful time passing out and sharing Valentine's with each other~

In Art this week, everyone made a spin Art HEART!

Everyone really enjoyed playing a color matching game with SweetHeart Candies!

All about Birds!

This week our unit was BIRDS OF A FEATHER! We had loads of fun listening to several different bird calls! We talked about Black Birds, Bob Whites, Chickadees, Cardinals and many many more!

For our crafts this week we painted with feathers and we made bird feeders!

A camping we will go....

We had a great week in our classroom! We talked all about going out in nature and camping! We read many fun books! Our favorite this week was reading Bear Feels Scared on CD in the DARK with camping lanterns and lots of flashlights!

We had lots of fun playing centers in our tents set up in our room!Also in centers this week we painted a camping scene and we worked on our hammer boards!We made binoculars and went on a "hike" on Thursday all around the school and outside with our binoculars to see what we could find! It was very cute! The highlights of the week were for sure our special snacks! Thank you all so much for bringing items to help this be a success!
On Wednesday we made trail mix!

And on Thursday we made YUMMY Smores! They were SO good!

Pj and Teddy Bear Day

This week we had so much fun hanging out in our PJ's!!

We had an amazing reader come to our school who read a few PJ and Teddy Bear Books! Her name was Ms. Judy and she calls herself the Book Talker. We are hoping that she will come back to our school soon because she was WONDERFUL!!

We made some yummy teddy bear print snacks too! Everyone really enjoyed them!

At the ZOO!

First....I am SO SO SO sorry that the blog has not been updated in a while...Between the holidays and missing memory card, the blog has been on the back burner :( From here to the end of the school year...PROMISE the blog will be updated weekly!!


So this week we learned all about The ZOO! It was so much fun talking all about different animals that live there!

Our bible story this week we A Baby in a Basket. We talked all about Baby Moses being put into the basket and floating down the river.

In Art this week, we painted a zebra using marble art

We also used our foot print to make a lion!

In Centers this week we sorted noodles

We played a matching game to find pairs of zoo animals

We had fun playing in our kitchen

In our Library we read MANY zoo themed books!

We also worked on our fine motor skills to lace some zoo animalIn our sensory table we found hidden zoo animals in the sand and matched them up to their picture.
