Household Pets!
Next week our unit is Household Pets! If you have a small pet (fish, hamster, reptile etc.) and would like that pet to stay at school for the day with your child, please talk to us!
a CAMPING we will go!
Our unit this week was all about CAMPING! Everyone had so much fun as we played in our tent, read books in our tent, and just hung out and talked in our tent. We were even able to turn the light off during part of our center time because the friends in the tent had flashlights that needed to be turned on!
We talked a lot this week about nature and how God made all of it! Our bible story this week was The Good Samaritan from Luke 10:25-37. In our bible at school, the Good Samaritan offers a band aid. The children especially like this part of the story.
In Centers this week we did our normal Center Buddy rotation. But we also then separated and did some individual projects.

(I love this next picture. This was meant to be an individual project. But two girls could not resist to help their friend out. What great team work!)
We worked a lot on cutting this week. Check out our windows in our class room to see the "stained glass" projects we made from all the cut paper! I will try to get a picture of them up on the blog soon. They are BEAUTIFUL!
In our sensory table everyone had the opportunity to Go Fishing!

The highlight of the week was our SMORES though! For snack one day this week we made good ol' Smores! The kids were so yummy! It was fun to watch the kids. For some of them at first this snack too sticky and messy. We told everyone at school messes are OK and not to worry about it! Soon most (some just did not like them) everyone really liked them!

I know there are no Monday/Tuesday pictures on this post. Those pictures are on a different memory card that I do not have with me. Check back soon and more pictures will be added! :)

Registration 2010/2011
Can you believe that it is already time to register for 2010/2011? You children will have the option to attend 2 or 3 days next year.
A few things are different this year than last regarding applying to His Kids.
Spots will not be filled on a first come/ first serve system. Rather they will be filled taking in consideration, length of time at His Kids, church membership, siblings attending or have attended the preschool, etc.
No money is due upon applying for the preschool this year. Once class list are posted on 2/17 a $150 registration/ supply fee will be due.
If you have any questions regarding the registration process please ask us!
Blessings,
Cassie and Jen

Birds of a Feather.
Birds of a Feather!
We talked about how God made all different types of birds this week. We talked about blue birds, robins, cardinals, owls, black birds, bob whites, chickadees, killdeers and many many more. We were even able to hear several different bird calls. Ask your child which was their favorite!
In Art this week we painted a blue bird to go along with the book we read Blue Bird's Nest.
Love,
Cassie and Jen

Upcoming Event Information
- Our Christmas Parties will be help on Tuesday, December 15th and Thursday, December 17th from 11:45-12:30.
- We will be doing a book exchange during our party. Please bring a book that either a girl or a boy would enjoy.
- You do not need to bring a gift for each child in our class.
- Please check out the sign up sheets outside our door. The Monday/ Tuesday class has signed up for everything but the Wednesday/ Thursday still needs a few things covered.
- On MONDAY the 14th we will be taking Christmas pictures.
- Lunch bunch will be offered on Tuesday after our party. However, we strongly encourage you not to leave your child for rest if you attend the party. Two goodbyes in one day can be very confusing to them. There will be no lunch bunch offered on Thursday as the school will be closing at 12:30.
