Ocean

Under the Sea!(Matthew and Keegan in their ocean animal shirts)

(Jackson and Andrew in their ocean animal shirts)

We had lots of fun talking all about the ocean and ocean animals.

For art this week we made our own seahorse to go along with Mr. Seahorse by Eric Carle.

We also made ocean fish from our hand print.

Our sensory table was filled with water, sea shells and all sorts of ocean animals!

In our listening center this week we heard the books The Pout Pout Fish and Fidgety Fish and Friends.

In some of our other centers this week, we stamped with ocean animal stamps.

(LOVE Laney!! Check out her nose...such a cutie!!)

We also worked with play dough and ocean animal stampers.

We worked on matching ocean animals.

We also worked on matching whale puzzles.
Our bible story this week was Jonah and the whale. In one of our books about this story, Jonah is in the whale's tummy holding his nose. The kids thought that this so was funny to talk about the whales tummy being stinky! It was priceless!

See you next week!
